St. Kilian’s includes a Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary Schools. With over 28 nationalities represented in our student population, St. Kilian's provides students with a uniquely positioning European focussed education.
This uniqueness extends to the governance of the school. One of our great strengths at St. Kilian’s is the extraordinary level of involvement of its parents in shaping the type of education that their children receive. Our Board of Management consists of nine parents who are democratically elected by other parents.
The Board of Management devolves the day-to-day running of the school to the permanent staff. The Principal is responsible for all matters academic. The office staff are responsible for the smooth running of the school.
At the monthly Board of Management meetings the board receives input from the school management before taking decisions on strategic matters which come before it.
This level of input and decision making by parents is unique to St. Kilian’s.
For a detailed understanding of the Board’s structure please read our Bye-Laws.
