St Kilian's German School Dublin
.jpg) St Kilian's German School (Deutsche Schule) is situated on the Eurocampus in Clonskeagh, South Dublin, adjacent to University College Dublin. St Kilian's is a fee paying primary and secondary school for children from 4 to 18 years of age.
St Kilian's prepares students for the Junior and Leaving Certificate and is recognised by the Irish Department of Education. We aim to provide a comprehensive European education. We teach to the high standards of the Leaving Certificate however we go beyond these standards for the subject of German. We offer a bi-lingual Leaving Certificate in German language, literature and history. This is unique in Ireland and the certification is recognised for university entry in Germany by the German Ministry of Education. We share our facilities and an educational project with the Lycée Francais d'Irlande (LFI) for the Junior Cycle.
As a 'School of Encounter', it is also a member of the network of German Schools Abroad under the German Central Agency for Schools Abroad. The school has a bilingual or multi-lingual focus catering for students of German, Irish and other nationalities with particular interest in the German language and culture.
