On Thursday, 8th of May 2025, we enjoyed a lively and engaging Child-Parent Debate with 4th Class children and their parents participating. This year’s motion: Ireland is the best place to live – saw the parents in favour, while the children took on the challenge of opposing the statement. Many great arguments were brought forward by both sides with the children winning the debate at the end. Thank you to all parents who participated. A special thanks to Mr Mansfield, our Drama and Debating teacher, who expertly prepared the children and served as adjudicator on the day. Congratulations to all for making the debate such a fun and educational experience!
