Admissions
Enquire
If you would like to talk to someone regarding admission into our Kindergarten, Primary or Secondary School, please do not hesitate to contact the School & Admissions Secretary, Jacinta Kane, on secretary@kilians.com or by phone +353 (0)1 2883323.
St. Kilian’s admits pupils in accordance with its ethos and the regulations of the Department of Education and Skills concerning age and previous schooling. Pupils entering Kindergarten (Junior Infants) must be 4 years of age by 31st May of the year of entry. Pupils may enter St. Kilian’s at levels other than Kindergarten or 1st Year; however, entry into 2nd, 3rd, 5th or 6th Year of Secondary School (classes 8, 9, 11 and 12) is predicated on prior knowledge of German, equivalent to the level of those classes. Pupils may enter Transition year (10th class) without German if numbers permit the establishment of a beginners’ class in any given year.
We also have an annual Open Day in October during which you can view the school and meet teachers and students. Please see our school calendar for the date.
Applications to 1st Year of Secondary School
Following the introduction of the School Admissions Act 2018, schools recognised by the Department of Education and Skills are no longer in a position to accept applications for enrolment before October 1st in the year preceding the year of entry.
Applications to 1st year in our Secondary School for the school year 2021/22 could therefore be made from 1st to 31st October 2020 only. Please note that applications received after 31st October 2020 or for future years of entry cannot be processed, in line with the School Admissions Act 2018.

- Families with three children in the school, 12.5% fee rebate applies
- For families with four or more children, 15% fee rebate applies
This rebate is available to all families who pay their fees on time (per year in advance, per term in advance or by monthly direct debit).
