Yesterday morning, students from PolSoc (Classes 9–12) and members of the EU/MUN Club were delighted to welcome Ivana Bacik, TD and leader of the Labour Party, to St. Kilian’s for an engaging Question and Answer session.
Students had prepared a range of questions on key issues such as the housing crisis and rising energy costs in Ireland, as well as the Labour Party’s position on foreign affairs topics including defence and Anglo-Irish relations.
The discussion was lively, insightful, and informative, giving students the opportunity to meet a leading Irish politician and to engage directly with current political issues. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Ms Ivana Bacik for taking the time to visit and for sharing her perspectives on today’s political developments.
