Congratulations to Class of 2026 who received their Leaving Certificate results on Friday, 21st of August 2026. We are delighted to share that this year’s students have once again achieved an excellent set of results.
Among the highlights:
- 88% of students achieved 400 points or more
- 77% achieved 450 points or more
- 60% achieved 500 points or more
- 14% achieved 600 points or more
- The average points score was 497
- The highest score was 625 points, achieved by five students, with three students achieving seven H1 grades
This year we had 65 Leaving Certificate candidates, our largest group ever. It is particularly encouraging to see that 60% of students achieved more than 500 points, compared with 58% last year, while the proportion achieving over 450 points increased from 73% to 77%.
While statistics give us one picture of the achievements of the year group, they never tell the whole story. Every student has travelled their own path through school, and represents the culmination of many years of work, perseverance and personal development. We are extremely proud of all of our students and wish them every success as they take their next steps.
