The celebration of St. Martin is one of the highlights of the school year for the Primary and Kindergarten Schools.
St. Martin was a Roman soldier who converted to Christianity. He is remembered throughout Germany on the 11th November with re-enactments of his story and lantern processions.
We have our own celebrations in St. Kilian’s with plays and a night time lantern procession which involves all children in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd class. The celebrations are always held around the 11th November.
