Soccer

Soccer is available as an extracurricular sport to both boys and girls through classes 7 to 12. Coaching sessions take place once weekly. Teams are entered in boys’ and girls’ competitions from Under-14 up to and including Under-19 levels. While we continuously emphasise the importance of participating for fun we have also enjoyed considerable success nationally with our soccer teams including an All-Ireland title, five Leinster titles and numerous Metropolitan league/cup successes over the past number of years.

Our soccer coaches Al Sugg and Eoin Clarkin are both UEFA accredited and bring considerable expertise to the coaching and training of our teams. Former students have played at under 18 international level for Ireland and have gone from St. Kilian’s to study under soccer scholarships in UCD.
