It was national Biodiversity Week from 15th-23rd May 2021 and Ms Thielemans and the Green School Committee had lined up lots of activities to mark this week and to work towards our next Green Flag.
Every class participated in one or more activities: 4th class made terrariums, 1st class made bug hotels and 6th Class pupils took part in an orienteering session and biodiversity quiz.
At the end of the week, the children’s work was presented in an exhibition in the Assembly. A variety of topics related to biodiversity had been explored in EVS, Sachkunde, German, Kunst and Sports, and the result was wonderful. Thank you to the children and their teachers for their work and participation.
