Well done to Alexey (11th Class) and Michael (8th Class) who achieved full marks (100%) in the Maggie Gough Maths Competition. This is a fantastic achievement in a national online competition, with over 23,900 students from 232 schools across Ireland taking part this year.
All of our 8th, 10th and 11th Class students participated during Maths Week, taking on challenging problems designed to develop problem-solving and mathematical thinking skills at both Junior and Senior Cycle. The competition is named after Maggie Gough, the first known Irish woman to receive a PhD in Mathematics — an inspiring legacy for our students to be part of.
