A group of teachers and senior students from St. Kilian’s and the LFI are lacing up their runners for a good cause this weekend as they prepare to take part in the VHI Women’s Mini-Marathon on Sunday, 1st June 2025.
The team has been training hard in recent weeks and will be running in support of JIGSAW – Young People’s Health in Mind, a vital charity providing mental health support to young people across Ireland.
Please support us by donating what you can via the link below. All donations are greatly appreciated and thanks to those that have already contributed.

Thank You!
We’ve reached our target of €2000. Thank you to each and everyone for your generous donations and for helping us fundraise for JIGSAW – Young people’s health in mind, the chosen charity this year. Well done to our teachers and senior students from St. Kilian’s and LFI, who completed the VHI Women’s Mini-Marathon on Sunday. Donations will be available until July 18th, 2025, if you would like to contribute.
On Thursday, June 5th, the Primary & Kindergarten school will run their annual mini marathon to also help raise funds for JIGSAW. We ask that the students bring in a small donation for our chosen charity which our Active School’s Committee will collect throughout the morning and before school. We also have an ice cream van for after break for a €2 per ice cream donation. All funds raised will all go towards the charity as well. This year our theme is spots and stripes so the students can choose to wear any clothing with spots or stripes but it’s not compulsory. This is always a fun event that is very much about participation, completing the run and giving back to our wider community!
