Yesterday morning, our third Class students were treated to a magical shadow theatre performance, thanks to a special visit from the Goethe-Institut Irland. Performers Verena and Claudia brought the enchanting German tale Das Traumfresserchen – originally written by Michael Ende and illustrated by Annegert Fuchshuber – to life through the art of shadow theatre.
Following the performance, the children participated in a hands-on workshop where they created their own characters and scenes for mini pop-up shadow theatres. It was a morning full of creativity, storytelling, and fun, as students proudly shared their imaginative creations with one another in class.
