Day 1: For a number of our athletes, this was their very first time stepping onto a track to compete, and they rose to the occasion with confidence, courage, and fantastic performances right across the board. Every one of them represented the school brilliantly, we’re incredibly proud of them. A special mention goes to Maya from Class 8D, who delivered the standout performance of the day, storming to gold in the Junior Girls 200m, before immediately returning to the high jump and making the podium under real pressure. Plenty more to come, onwards to Day 2!

Day 2: Another fantastic day at the East Leinster Track & Field Championships for St. Kilian’s at Morton Stadium, Santry. All 27 of our students had a brilliant day out, full of energy, cheer, and great performances across the board.
A special mention to Daragh (7C) who claimed silver in the hurdles – his technique was super impressive. Jacob (10A) was unlucky, just missing out on the podium, finishing 4th after a strong effort in his first ever triple jump competition. And of course, no championship would be complete without the elite level nutrition on display, a steady diet of crêpes and hot dogs fuelling the performances. An enjoyable and successful couple of days for the team, plenty to build on going forward. Congratulations to all this year’s athletes!
