For a number of our athletes, this was their very first time stepping onto a track to compete, and they rose to the occasion with confidence, courage, and fantastic performances right across the board. Every one of them represented the school brilliantly, we’re incredibly proud of them. A special mention goes to Maya from Class 8D, who delivered the standout performance of the day, storming to gold in the Junior Girls 200m, before immediately returning to the high jump and making the podium under real pressure. Plenty more to come, onwards to Day 2!
