Milk Order School Year 2024/2025
Should you wish to participate in the school milk scheme, please complete this form. The cost of the scheme is €40 per child / per year for one carton a day. In order to submit this form you will first have to make payment through Easy Payment Plus and retain the receipt number of your payment as you will be asked for the number in the form.

School holidays
The school holidays are in accordance with the standardised school year prescribed by the Department of Education and Skills. An overview of the school holidays for the years 2023-2025 can be downloaded here.
Break time
The first break of the day begins at 10.25 am and ends at 10.50 am. After eating their snacks, pupils go to their designated area of the playground: The basketball pitch for classes 1-2 and the astro turf for classes 3-6. We have a beautiful activity playground for our children’s use and Primary School classes are allocated a day of the week on which they may play in it.
For those pupils staying in school after 12.50 pm, there is a second break until 1.30 pm during which they can eat their lunch and then play outside. After this break, pupils join the aftercare, their chosen extracurricular activity or continue with their classes.
Food / Canteen
St. Kilian’s school has a canteen, which offers a wide range of varied, healthy foods which are cooked on the premises. However, as this is mainly used by Secondary School pupils, it is recommended that Primary School pupils bring their own packed lunches and snacks from home. Older Primary School pupils may use the canteen. We would like to encourage parents to adhere to our Healthy Eating Policy and refrain from packing sweets and treats in the children’s lunch boxes.
