The primary girls and boys teams have begun their season with a series of friendly matches as they prepare for their league fixtures next term. With both our boys and girls teams looking to have a great season.
The junior boys have kicked off their A league campaign with impressive performances, securing a victory against St. Andrews A and showing resilience with a draw against Newpark. Their strong start sets a promising tone for the season ahead.
Minor boys team has played three matches, managing to secure one win while showing potential in their two other games. They were particularly unlucky not to clinch a victory in their first game, showcasing a fighting spirit that bodes well for future encounters.
The senior girls have faced a challenging start to the season but are demonstrating promising progress. With hard work and determination, it’s only a matter of time before they secure their first win.
Our junior girls have made a confident entry into their season, dominating their opening match with an impressive away win at Newbridge. Similarly, both the minor and first girls’ teams have enjoyed a solid start, each winning their opening games, igniting enthusiasm for their upcoming fixtures.
In a notable achievement, the first-year boys’ team made it to the finals of the Atlas 8v8 tournament, although they faced disappointment in a penalty shootout loss. Their run to the finals shows great potential for the team moving forward.
As we look ahead, there is a strong sense of anticipation for how our teams will perform in the upcoming league and cup matches, which will come thick and fast.
