This Christmas, a simple shoebox can make a child smile!
This year once again, St. Kilian’s is taking part in Team Hope’s Christmas Shoebox Appeal, which sends gift-filled shoeboxes to children affected by poverty in Africa and Eastern Europe. For many of these children, it will be the only gift they receive at Christmas.
Thank you to everyone who is getting involved. Every shoebox can make a huge difference.
📦 Fill a shoebox with small gifts for a boy or girl. Team Hope’s packing guide shows what to include: https://www.teamhope.ie/christmas-shoebox-appeal/how-to-fill-a-shoebox/
🎄 Wrap the lid and box separately so it can be checked before delivery.
💶 Pay the €6 shoebox contribution, which covers the cost of getting your box to a child: https://www.teamhope.ie/donations/th_6-for-my-shoebox/
💻 Short on time? You can build a shoebox online instead, or donate €25 and Team Hope will pack one for you.
Please drop your finished shoeboxes to the Secretary’s Office by Wednesday, 11th November 2026 or in the Assembly Hall in Primary School. Thank you to St. Kilian’s Charity Club and the Student Council in Primary School for organising and to everyone participating and helping to spread a little hope this Christmas season!
