The children in 4th Class started their morning on Wednesday, 13th of May 2026, with an exciting debate with their parents on the motion ‘The Olympic games are a waste of money’. The parents were proposing the motion while the children took on the challenge of opposing it. It was a lively, engaging and enjoyable Child-Parents Debate with many great arguments brought forward by both sides. At the end the audience had the difficult task to decide on the winning team. This year the motion was defeated, and the children won the debate. Well done to all our young debaters and parents who took part and thank you to Mr Mansfield for expertly preparing the children and for chairing the debate. It was a great educational experience for all!
