“We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mr. Tomi Reichental, a Holocaust survivor whom we had the privilege of welcoming to St. Kilian’s in person in 2012 and again via Zoom in 2021. As a child, Mr. Reichental experienced the horrors of the Holocaust and imprisonment in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Through his courage and commitment in sharing his story, he educated and inspired countless young people, ensuring that the lessons of the past would never be forgotten. We hope that Mr. Reichental’s story will be remembered and shared for many years. Our sincere sympathies are with his family, friends, and all who knew him during this sad time. May he rest in peace.”
